The Importance of Balloons

A simple balloon is absolutely necessary at our school for a variety of different reasons.

Balloons can be used to entertain students during a class celebration and for indoor fun:

A balloon is also good for learning about static electricity.  You have to realize though that the minds of fourth graders learn about static electricity like this:
While those in high school learn about it in a whole other way!

In the Science Lab

If you are passing by Mr. Knapp's Science Lab after lunch some day you just might see sights like these (above and below).

Petra students are searching through liquid samples gathered from around the school - from fish tanks and lizzard cages.  What are they searching for you ask?  Well, new pets of course.
